Orders can be placed On-Line or over the phone (01253 856131), Payments can be made in person or via bank transfer. Phillips Jewellers Ltd will not charge a fee for any payment methods.

Cancellations

​

If you have made a mistake during the ordering process or simply change your mind please contact us within the first 24hrs to cancel, all payments will be refunded.

Refunds, Returns & Exchanges

​

The majority of our online items are ordered or made to order for this reason we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on these items unless faulty or not as described in the listing. For specific item enquiries pre order please contact the store and we can advice if that item is returnable. if the item is a normal stock item a 14 day return period is offered inlin e with distance sales legislation.

Privacy statement

Here at Phillips Jewellers Ltd we take privacy seriously. All payment details are handled securly online via Paypal or using our in-store World Pay terminal, for over the phone payments. Once your order is compleat your personal information is not held or used for markating by anyone including us.

As a result of a revision of the Data Protection Act 1988, the new General Data Protection Regulation (effective from 25th May 2018) requires that Phillips Jewellers Ltd, ensure that clients are aware of what personal data we hold, how we collect that data and with whom it is shared with and clients’ rights concerning their personal data.

Personal information held for each Client consists of your name, contact telephone numbers and address

This information collected during your transactions.  is written on your Confidential Job forms, Order Forms or Secure Pawnbroking system, which is held in an encrypted computer file or in a secure safe as a paper document.

 

• Your personal information is used for the following purposes which form the legitimate legal basis or processing your data:-

• To Process and track the status of an order or repair

• To process and record a secure Pawnbroking loan

• Cctv to prevent crime

 

Your contact details are shared with:

 

• Police if legal requests are made by a count of law

• Hm revenue and customs to prevent tax avoidance and money laundering

• FCA if a Pawnbroking complain is made.  

 

I do not share your data with anyone other than the named above in legal situations.

 

Where your information is passed to a third party we confirm that this information will be passed securely and only where it is necessary. The third party will not pass your personal data on to anyone else without your consent and they will only hold your personal data for the amount of time that there is a legitimate reason to process and hold your data.

 

Personal data is held and kept for six years after your Pawnbroking agreement ends.  Any hard copies are securely disposed of after this time.

As a data subject you have the right to request access to and rectification or erasure of your Personal Data, to object to or request restriction of processing concerning the data, or to the right to data portability.    You also have the right to object to automated decision making – if this happens you may request that an individual reviews your personal data before making a decision.
